Myth and Fact Regarding the Atlantic Shores South Project off Long Beach Island (LBI) and Brigantine, NJ
There has been and continues to be much misinformation about the benefits and damage from offshore wind projects. Based on Save LBI’s professional-level research over the past four years regarding the Atlantic Shores project, we provide below what we believe represents both the unfounded and well founded information regarding that project. Many of the issues for that project are found in others. We hope that offshore wind project proponents will read this, and if their goal is reducing greenhouse gases, consider the many other alternative ways that are far less costly and environmentally damaging.
